National Pancake Day: More
This is a second pancake day and is not the one
celebrated around Shrove Tuesday or the one IHOP celebrates with
free cakes. This one appears to be a second name for 'Lumberjack Day' which
was created in 2005 by Marianne Ways and Colleen AF Venable
as an excuse to eat all the pancakes they wanted.

September in the Northern Hemisphere is the seasonal equivalent of March in the Southern Hemisphere.
