Tomorrow's food holiday will be National Creme Brulee Day'. From Wikipedia: ' dessert consisting of a rich custard base topped with a contrasting layer of hard caramel. [The Hankster says] Yep, this is the one cooked in a ramekin, on top of which you sprinkle sugar and caramelize it under a broiler or by using a propane torch. I guess this is for those who took both home economics (I see it is now called Family and Consumer Sciences) and shop (my goodness, it is now called Industrial Arts).
We have two holidays remembering the Korean War, tomorrow.
1 - 'National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day'. H.J.RES.332 -- Designating July 27 of each year as the `National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day'. (Introduced in House - IH
2 - 'Korean War Veterans’ Day'.
I'm not sure why in the heat of July, we have three holidays that want us to exercise by walking, but here they are:
[The Hankster says] Perhaps a Southern Hemisphere conspiracy. It's winter down there.
1 - 'Take Your Houseplant For A Walk Day'.
[The Hankster says] You will feel a whole lot better, but a bit sillier at the end.
2 - 'Take Your Pants for a Walk Day'.
[The Hankster says] You will feel a lot more than just a little silly, if you don't get this one right.
3 - 'Walk on Stilts Day'.
[The Hankster says] If you can do this in long trousers and carting a houseplant, I want a ticket to the performance.
Press your kilts and start the haggis cooking, tomorrow is 'Bagpipe Appreciation Day'.
Tomorrow is 'National Barbie-in-a-Blender Day'. A celebration of free speech and fair use, as the outcome of a lawsuit.
[The Hankster says] This celebrates a 'fair use' court decision, dealing with a suit against a man who video that procedure and was sued by the dolls makers (who lost).

July is:
July origin (from Wikipedia): Named by the Roman Senate in honor of Julius Caesar.
"is the seventh month of the year (between June
and August) in the Julian and Gregorian Calendars and one of seven months
with the length of 31 days. It was named by the Roman Senate in honor of
the Roman general, Julius Caesar, it being the month of his birth. Prior
to that, it was called Quintilis. It is, on average, the warmest month in
most of the Northern hemisphere (where it is the second month of summer)
and the coldest month in much of the Southern hemisphere (where it
is the second month of winter). The second half of the year commences in
July. In the Southern hemisphere, July is the seasonal equivalent of
January in the Northern hemisphere."
