We have two food holidays tomorrow:
- ' National Tapioca Pudding Day'. Made from the starch of the cassava or manioc root with milk, cream or coconut milk and sugar.
[The Hankster says] Love it.
- 'Gummi Worm Day'. Gummi candies came from Germany in 1922. Gummi Worms were introduced in 1981.
[The Hankster says] Hey kids. While mom is trying to beat the 30 second clock on the shopping channel, put some Tapioca pudding on a plate. Then put a bright green Gummi Worm in the middle. When mom comes to the table, shake the plate a little. You didn't know mom could jump like that, did you?
Tomorrow is 'National Give Something Away Day'.
[The Hankster says] You don't have to reach for your checkbook or spend the day finding old stuff in the closet. Try giving a little of yourself.
Celebrate 'National I Love Horses Day' tomorrow.
[The Hankster says] Hug 'um, if you got 'um.
You won't need a prognosticating mammal to determine the weather tomorrow. It is 'St. Swithin's Day '.
[The Hankster says] If it rains on July 15, St. Swithin's Day, it will rain on the next 40 days. The old rhyme goes:
St. Swithun's day, if thou dost rain,
For forty days it will remain;
St. Swithun's day, if thou be fair,
For forty days 'twill rain na mair

From Wikipedia: The Rosetta Stone is a granodiorite stele inscribed with a decree issued at Memphis, Egypt, in 196 BC on behalf of King Ptolemy V. The decree appears in three scripts: the upper text is Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, the middle portion Demotic script, and the lowest Ancient Greek. Because it presents essentially
the same text in all three

July is:
July origin (from Wikipedia): Named by the Roman Senate in honor of Julius Caesar.
"is the seventh month of the year (between June
and August) in the Julian and Gregorian Calendars and one of seven months
with the length of 31 days. It was named by the Roman Senate in honor of
the Roman general, Julius Caesar, it being the month of his birth. Prior
to that, it was called Quintilis. It is, on average, the warmest month in
most of the Northern hemisphere (where it is the second month of summer)
and the coldest month in much of the Southern hemisphere (where it
is the second month of winter). The second half of the year commences in
July. In the Southern hemisphere, July is the seasonal equivalent of
January in the Northern hemisphere."
