Cow Appreciation Day: More
National Macaroni and Cheese Day: More
You can get a free small Mac 'n Cheese at participating Noodles and Company, if you have one hear you
We have two food holidays tomorrow:
- 'National Macaroni and Cheese Day'. You can get a free small Mac 'n Cheese at participating Noodles and Company, if you have one near you
[The Hankster says] Another childhood staple.
- 'Cow Appreciation Day'. Participating stores are offering a free Meal at Chick-fil-A. However, you must dress up like a cow. There are ears and such that you can print out from the website. Sounds like fun for the kids.
[The Hankster says] Take lots of pics and post them.
Tomorrow is 'National Tape Measure Day'. The day notes it's patent in 1868 by Alvin J Fellows.
[The Hankster says] It and the scale have always been the fisherman's nemesis. The concept of 'the big one that got away' was created the next day.
You go with this one. Tomorrow is 'Pandemonium Day'.
[The Hankster says] This is either a comment on my life or my post. I'm not sure which.
Tomorrow is 'Shark Awareness Day'.
[The Hankster says] I'm doing all I can to keep my eye on my Mac 'n Cheese. Now I have to not only be aware of cows but sharks also. On second thought, this may be easier than I think. I can't remember the last time I looked over my shoulder and saw a shark in the pasture while at the same time, a cow was eating my mac 'n cheese.

July is:
July origin (from Wikipedia): Named by the Roman Senate in honor of Julius Caesar.
"is the seventh month of the year (between June
and August) in the Julian and Gregorian Calendars and one of seven months
with the length of 31 days. It was named by the Roman Senate in honor of
the Roman general, Julius Caesar, it being the month of his birth. Prior
to that, it was called Quintilis. It is, on average, the warmest month in
most of the Northern hemisphere (where it is the second month of summer)
and the coldest month in much of the Southern hemisphere (where it
is the second month of winter). The second half of the year commences in
July. In the Southern hemisphere, July is the seasonal equivalent of
January in the Northern hemisphere."
