#Henry's Heads Up! Tomorrow May 3 2015 will be:
We have two food holidays for tomorrow:
- 'National Chocolate Custard Day'.
- 'National Raspberry Popover Day'.
[The Hankster says] With Chocolate Custard on top.
Mothers day is May 10, but tomorrow we want to keep in our minds this first Sunday in May event, 'International Bereaved Mothers Day'. From the web site: ' Mother’s Day is a day of the year that we come together to celebrate all the mothers around the world. It’s a day that is supposed to bring joy, recognition, love and appreciation to these incredible women that do so much for humanity. If you have experienced the death of one or more of your children, struggle to conceive a child or are unable to
fall
pregnant at all, this day can often bring up feelings of isolation, unworthiness, pain and sadness. Much of society has forgotten the true meaning of Mother’s Day and fails to support and recognize all true mothers.'
No matter how you want to interpret it, tomorrow is 'National Lumpy Rug Day'.
[The Hankster says] This day may mean, to not sweep your problems under the rug, or fix your problems now or on the strictly cosmetic side, just get a new rug.
Well, if you didn't get arrested on today's 'World Naked Gardening Day', you may celebrate 'Garden Meditation Day', tomorrow. You can enjoy the value of peaceful meditation.
[The Hankster says] Come to think of it, if you did, you have even a greater reason to meditate on your decision, before next year.
Be yourself tomorrow It will be 'National Two Different Colored Shoes Day'. A day to celebrate human diversity.
[The Hankster says] And being in a hurry. Yep, I wore a brown 'un and a black 'un once. I only wish I could have thought of the diversity thing at the time.
Tomorrow will be 'Paranormal Day'. Get-together for those believing in telekinesis or clairvoyance, etc.

'The name held too negative a connotation... because these pets are very able!

George Bernard Shaw once said 'Everything happens to everybody sooner or later if there is time enough.'
[The Hankster says] I'm not sure I agree totally with this one. Else, why haven't I won the lottery yet? I'm worried about that 'time enough' thing. Anyway history is full of accomplishments and failures. Perhaps we can find some back on May 3 in the past.

May is:
May origin (from Wikipedia):
The month May was named for the Greek goddess Maia, who was identified
with the Roman era goddess of fertility, Bona Dea, whose festival was
held in May. Conversely, the Roman poet Ovid provides a second etymology,
in which he says that the month of May is named for the maiores, Latin for
'elders,' and that the following month (June) is named for the iuniores, or 'young people'
May
'
is the fifth month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian Calendars and one of seven months with the length of 31 days.
May is a month of Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere and spring in the Northern Hemisphere (Summer in Europe). Therefore May in the Southern Hemisphere is the seasonal equivalent of November in the Northern Hemisphere and vice versa.
