National Chocolate Mousse Day: More
Tomorrow's food holiday will be 'National Chocolate Mousse Day'.
[The Hankster says] The Easter holiday is coming upon us, so I want to make sure everyone realizes that this is Mousse (a French word meaning ‘foam). It is a light tasty chocolate dessert, made by whipping egg whites or cream to add air bubbles. It is not, I repeat not, a creditable Alaskan Moose substitute for a Chocolate Bunny.
Tomorrow is 'National Tweed Day'.
[The Hankster says] There are two ideas for the name. One is for the cloth and the other is more or less and anti-corruption statement, having as it's namesake the birthday of the senator-turned-crook William “Boss” Tweed.
I don't want to see you moping about and feeling sorry for yourself tomorrow. It will be. 'National Find a Rainbow Day'.
[The Hankster says] We make some of our luck by providing ourselves with opportunities. Things won't always come to us, sometimes we must seek them. And don't forget, there's that pot of gold thing, to consider..
Here is another one to work out with your boss. Tomorrow is 'Don't go to Work Unless it's Fun Day'.
[The Hankster says] Not another catch-up day for those who didn't make a fool of themselves on 4/1. Tomorrow, employers are supposed to make work-time, perhaps not fun-time, but more enjoyable-time.
You have got to be a Dr. Who fan for this one. Tomorrow is 'Fish Fingers and Custard Day'. From the Dr. Who episode ‘Eleventh Hour'.
An awareness day tomorrow.
'Hospital Admitting Clerks Day'.
Arnold H. Glasow once said 'Success is simple. Do what's right, the right way, at the right time.
[The Hankster says ] Then no wonder success is such an elusive thing. The definition of luck is ''success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one's own actions.. Since doing something right and doing it the right way are human actions, I guess that leaves our old nemesis, time, as the only variant. It's a hard trio to balance, the what, the way and the time. Let us look back to April3 in the past and see if it was true that 'The best-laid plans of mice and men / Often go awry'
In 1860, The Pony Express mail service begins operating between Sacramento, California and St. Joseph Missouri. It only lasted about 18 months, as it was put out of business by the telegraph and transcontinental railroads. There were about 150 stations, 10 miles apart where a rider would exchange his worn out horse for a new one.

April is:
April origin (from Wikipedia):
'The Romans gave this month the Latin name Aprilis but the derivation of
this name is uncertain. The traditional etymology is from the verb aperire,
'to open', in allusion to its being the season when trees and flowers begin
to 'open', which is supported by comparison with the modern Greek use of
(anoixis) (opening) for spring. Since some of the Roman months were named
in honor of divinities, and as April was sacred to the goddess Venus, her
Veneralia being held on the first day, it has been suggested that
April was the second month of the earliest Roman calendar, before
Ianuarius and Februarius were added by King Numa Pompilius about 700 BC.
It became the fourth month of the calendar year (the year when twelve
months are displayed in order) during the time of the decemvirs about
450 BC, when it also was given 29 days. The 30th day was added during
the reform of the calendar undertaken by Julius Caesar in the mid-40s BC,
which produced the Julian calendar.'
April
'is commonly associated with the season of spring in parts of the
Northern Hemisphere and autumn in parts of the Southern Hemisphere,
where it is the seasonal equivalent to October in the
Northern Hemisphere and vice versa.'
