National Pound Cake Day: More
Tomorrow's food holiday will be 'National Pound Cake Day'.
[The Hankster says] A pound of flour, a pound of butter, a pound of sugar and a pound of eggs. It was deemed, back in the good ole days, when many could not read or write, that this was the best way to remember a recipe. Pound Cake was my fathers favorite.
We have two holidays tomorrow, that play on the date as 'March Fourth' as go fourth.
The first is 'National Hug a G.I. Day'.
The second is 'March Forth (Do Something Day)'.
Just when you thought it was safe to continue writing; tomorrow is 'National Grammar Day'.
