National Corn Chip Day: More
Tomorrow's food holiday will be 'National Corn Chip Day'.
[The Hankster says] We celebrate Tortilla Chips and Salsa later this year. So, I will be loading up by king size dipping chips with my childhood favorite, bean dip. There will also be some French Onion Sour Cream Dip nearby.
Tomorrow is 'National Puzzle Day'.
[The Hankster says] At first I was upset. I thought this day was casting aspersions on my usual condition and state of mind, but it really celebrates puzzles of all kinds, not just the apparent disarrangement of my gray cells.
Tomorrow we have a birthday boy who has his own day, 'Curmudgeons Day'. It is the birthday of W.C. Fields'.
[The Hankster says] Now a curmudgeon 'is a bad-tempered or surly person'. Fits all of us, some of the time, now, doesn't it. We celebrated crusty old gold prospectors a few days ago, To keep the tradition going, why not view a Fields movie or maybe 'Grumpy Old Men' or even 'Up'. Or, you can just watch over my shoulder when my computer is acting up.
An anniversary day tomorrow. It will be 'Seeing Eye Dog Day'. It marks the founding of the first guide dog school, 'The Seeing Eye' in 1929.
We have a birthday state tomorrow, on 'Kansas Day', We celebrate Kansas statehood in 1861.
Tomorrow is 'National Dianthus caryophyllus Day' or 'National Carnation Day' if you like. It is the birth flower for January.
Tomorrow is also 'Freethinkers Day'. AKA 'Thomas Pain Day'.
John Zimmerman once said 'When in doubt, take more time.'

January is:
January origin (from Wikipedia):
'January is named after Janus, the God of beginnings and transitions;
the name has its beginnings in Roman mythology, coming from the Latin
word for door since January is the door to the year.'
'January is the first month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian calendars
and one of seven months with the length of 31 days.
The first day of the month is known as New Year's Day. It is, on average,
the coldest month of the year within most of the Northern Hemisphere
(where it is the second month of winter) and the warmest month of the year
within most of the Southern Hemisphere (where it is the second month of summer).
In the Southern hemisphere, January is the seasonal equivalent of July in the
Northern hemisphere and vice versa.'
