National Fast Food Day: More
Tomorrow's food holiday is 'National Fast Food Day'. The first known fast food place in America was a hotdog stand on Cony Island in 1867. Even as far back as ancient Roman times, vendors took to the streets.
[The Hankster says] Of course, with me, it is not how fast the food can be prepared, but how fast I can eat it, that counts.
I hope you have completed your cyphering exercise from 'Count Your Buttons Day' since tomorrow will be 'National Button Day'.
[The Hankster says] There will be a pop quiz tomorrow to verify your math skills.
We have some awareness days tomorrow 'International Day for Tolerance', a UN awareness day, 'World Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Day' and
'World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims'.
Yet another day for the Teddy Bear. Tomorrow is 'Have a Party With Your Bear Day'.
[The Hankster says] OK this is getting ridiculous. And just how long will the piggy, horsie, giraffey (no that can't be right) and other plush toys, stand for this obvious one sided tribute. I see a toy box revolt ahead. You remember what happened on "The Animal Farm', don't you.
Thomas Carlyle once said 'The illimitable, silent, never-resting thing called Time, rolling, rushing on, swift, silent, like an all-embracing ocean-tide, on which we and all the universe swim like exhalations, like apparitions which are, and then are not...'
[The Hankster says] It is true that time is swift and we can't govern the speed of time, but time was not silent. It left a record and it can speak to us, if we will listen. Let's see what November 16, in the past, had to say.

November is:
November origin (from Wikipedia): 'November is the eleventh month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian
Calendars and one of four months with the length of 30 days. November was
the ninth month of the ancient Roman calendar. November retained its name
(from the Latin novem meaning 'nine') when January and February were added
to the Roman calendar.
'
'November is a month of spring in the Southern Hemisphere and autumn in
the Northern Hemisphere. Therefore, November in the Southern Hemisphere
is the seasonal equivalent of May in the Northern Hemisphere and vice
versa.'
