National Caramel Apple Day: More
We have two, or maybe three food holidays tomorrow. It will be ' National Caramel Apple Day' or if you prefer a red crunchy hard coating on your apple, it's 'National Candy Apple Day'. It will also be 'National Breadstix (Bread Sticks) Day'.
All this, except I can't figure out the bread stick thing, has to do with tomorrow's 'Halloween'. I wonder how many rocks Charlie B. will get tomorrow night? And please let the little kid with the blanket, know if you see anything like a Great Pumpkin rising out of the Punkin Patch.
Related is tomorrow's 'Frankenstein Friday'.
Tomorrow marks the death of Harry Houdini, on October 31 1926. We remember his life as 'Magic Day'. You may remember a few days ago that we mentioned his being hospitalized due to a publicity stunt gone bad.
Tomorrow being the last Friday in October we celebrate 'National Knock-Knock Jokes Day'. You have ample warning to prepare to run your friends crazy. I remember my first such jokes, back in the ...., well we will just call them elementary school days. "Knock-Knock. Who's there? You. You, who? Gee I didn't know you could yodel..' And with a quick change 'Knock-Knock. Who's there? "Boo. Boo, who?. Sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry.'
Tomorrow is 'Girl Scout Founder’s Day'.
Tomorrow is 'Increase Your Psychic Powers Day'. Practice makes perfect. On Halloween, this was easy when you tried to guess (see with your mind) what was just thrown into your bag, how much did your bag weigh, how many days would the loot last and how could you palm off that candy you don't like for something you do like.
We have two awareness days tomorrow. It is 'National Bandanna Day' in Australia. The organization 'CanTeen', deals with young people living with cancer.
' Pink Friday' in the United Kingdom is a Breast Cancer awareness day.
