National White Chocolate Day: More
September 22 is the 265th day of the year. After some quick Jethro Bodine ciphering, I figure that leaves 100 days until the end of the year. That means, depending on when you read this post, that you have about 93 or 92 days until Christmas. Start those online shopping site 'Wish Lists Now', that your friends and family can view, or you might end up with another Fruit Cake or that 'way yesterday' electronic gadget . (Disclaimer: I like Fruit Cake)
Tomorrow is 'National White Chocolate Day'. Why is it white. No coco solids. It must contain at least 20% cocoa butter, 14% total milk solids, 3.5% milk fat, and less than 63% sugar.
It's getting a little cooler, but it is never too late to celebrate 'Ice Cream Cone Day', tomorrow. Yes, I will have mine double dipped in regular chocolate, please.
If you can, park the car tomorrow. It will be ' World Car Free Day'. Do the environment and your cardiovascular system a favor.
We celebrated the traveling business woman today. Tomorrow we will celebrate the more generic 'American Business Women's Day'.
Tomorrow is also 'OneWeb Day'. Stated purpose "to foster and make visible a global constituency that cares about the future of the Internet".
Tomorrow we have two animal awareness days to consider. 'Elephant Appreciation Day'. and 'World Rhino Day'. I would like to throw in Whales and Dolphins.
Tomorrow is 'Emancipation Day', when Lincoln expressed he preliminary Emancipation Proclamation.
Know anyone 100 or over. Tomorrow is their day as 'National Centenarian's Day'.
Wish Bilbo and Frodo Baggins a happy birthday tomorrow on 'Hobbit Day'.
Tomorrow is also 'National Walk n' Roll Dog Day'. An awareness day for dogs with 'Intervertabral Disc Disease' (IVDD) and dogs in wheelchairs. Every time I see one of these dogs, seemingly still enjoying life, I wonder at some of my gripes and grumbles.
Tomorrow is also 'Dear Diary Day'. One day, you will wish you had written it all down.
Time has left it's marks. Follow those tracks, back through time to September 22:
