Wienerschnitzel Day: More
Tomorrow you can celebrate good ole American 'Wienerschnitzel Day'. The best I can understand, it is our Americanizing of the name of the Austrian Wiener Schnitzel, which is a fried breaded veal cutlet. Something like our Chicken Fried Stake, but not quite.
A while back we celebrated 'Teddy Bear Picnic Day'. If you haven't put Mr. Or Mrs. Teddy back on the shelf, why not make some Wienerschnitzel , and go for another picnic. Tomorrow is 'Teddy Bear Day'. Just in case you are one of the few who have never heard how Teddy got his name, it is due to Teddy Roosevelt, sparing the life of a captured bear cub, while on a hunting trip. The newspapers started talking about Teddy's Bear, and it went from there.
Tomorrow is also 'National Ants on a Log Day'. Give up. celery with peanut butter in the middle and raisins on top.
Have a wonderful 'Wonderful Weirdos Day' tomorrow. I have no guidelines for you. Just do tomorrow, what I do every day in the post.
Tomorrow is another 'Bonza Bottler Day'. We have one every month on the day that matches the month, as in tomorrow 9/9. A Bodacious Bonza Bottler Day. occurs if the year is also the same. Bonza! is Australian slang for something excellent.
