National Peach Ice Cream Day: More
Good news for all those who have left over Peaches. You know the ones. Those who traveled to Georgia or Fredericksburg TX for there peaches, had a plentiful harvest from a single tree or even purchased some at the store: tomorrow will be 'National Peach Ice Cream Day' So far this year, we have celebrated 'Peach Melba Day', 'Peach Cobbler Day' and 'Peaches and Cream Day'. Be sure to invite lots of friends over when you make that ice cream. Otherwise you will have to turn that ice cream maker crank all by yo
urself.
If in stead you gathered your Peaches in small baskets and are selling them on the side of the road, from your pickup truck, be aware of two things. One, you obtained a proper vendors license and two, that you fully appreciate 'Get to Know Your Customer Day'.
For all you math enthusiasts, you can celebrate 'Yellow Pig Day'. It has nothing to do with peaches, pigs or the color yellow.
For those of you who don't know what to do tomorrow, just go off on a tangent and make an attempt at something. After all, you couldn't do any worse than the man we celebrate tomorrow, on 'Wrong Way Corrigan Day'. Now I have a bad sense of direction, but I do think I can tell New York from Ireland.
On July 17 1955, you could have attended the opening of 'Disneyland in Anaheim, California.
