Celebrate National Hot Dog Month: More
Sorry, I couldn't find a food holiday for today's date.
Well I couldn't find a food holiday for tomorrow July 2 2014. So, I'll choose to celebrate 'National Hot Dog Month'.
I know you are always up on the critical events of the day and realize it is also
'National Baked Beans Month'. When you think about it, that is
all Beans 'n Franks are: Baked beans and hot dogs. But, lets not jump the gun, as 'Bean 'n Franks' day is celebrated on July 13th.
We have more important things to think about. Tomorrow is ' World UFO Day:'. It
has to do with that Roswell incident back in '47. So, lets put that conspiracy hat on and come up with some 'good ones'. And as Jack Horkheimer always said: 'Keep looking up.'.
How appropriate that NASA is experimenting with a flying saucer as part of a new
Mars landing package. As the late Eli Wallach might have said, 'We don't won't no stinking alien saucers'. Ours will honor 'Made in the USA Day', tomorrow.
There was something else, but I forgot. Oh, now I remember. It will also be ' I Forgot Day'.

July is:
July origin (from Wikipedia): Named by the Roman Senate in honor of Julius Caesar.
"is the seventh month of the year (between June
and August) in the Julian and Gregorian Calendars and one of seven months
with the length of 31 days. It was named by the Roman Senate in honor of
the Roman general, Julius Caesar, it being the month of his birth. Prior
to that, it was called Quintilis. It is, on average, the warmest month in
most of the Northern hemisphere (where it is the second month of summer)
and the coldest month in much of the Southern hemisphere (where it
is the second month of winter). The second half of the year commences in
July. In the Southern hemisphere, July is the seasonal equivalent of
January in the Northern hemisphere."
